Hi! Well before you start reading about a complete stranger, I thought you might want to know a little about me. My name is Jackie and I graduated from North Sand Mountain High School this past May. I am on a Presidential Host scholarship here at Northeast, and am majoring in communications. So…let me tell you all about my first day! I WAS SCARED TO DEATH! OMG! I didn’t know what to wear or how to fix my hair, but I knew I had to look good on the first day…I mean I was about to meet and greet people where first impressions meant everything! Ok, well maybe not everything l0l, but it made a difference. I was nervous about my classes especially since I thought I wasn’t going to know anyone, but managed to find them all: English 102, Music Appreciation , and Math 100, Biology 103, and Mass Media Writing. Anyways, back to the first day…classes were short and sweet! L0l All the instructors talked about was the schedule for the class and all that jazz. I knew the real fun would start the next class day! Much to my surprise, college was going great to be the first day. I mean everyone was so nice…well everyone that I managed to bump into.I have been in school for a week and so far so good! I love it…way more freedom than high school with so many more perks…and homework l0l! I am actually happy that I came to Northeast instead of going straight into a 4 year university. That way I have a little college experience first without straying too far from home!
