LiVe~LoVe~LaUgH~

So…I got this text a week or so ago from my friend…of course it was one of those forwards, but this one hit me hard. It said, “Between holding hands and falling in love…You begin to learn that…Kisses don’t always mean something. Promises can be broken…(just as quickly as they were made)…and goodbyes really are forever. But never forget. You have to take the good with the bad. Smile with the sad. Love what you’ve got. And remember what you had. Always forgive. But never forget. Learn from your mistakes. But never regret. People change, things go wrong, but just remember…life goes on!” Is that not a powerful quote?! I love it! I just meant a lot to me, and actually opened my eyes a little more to reality I guess. As much as I love my little fariy tale world, where everything is ok, I know bad things happen to good people and vise versa. So…I’m just taking things on a day-by-day basis. I’m not going to rush my life, and I’m really trying the whole “not stressing” thing, but I don’t know how long that’s going to last. What can I say…I’m just a worrier! l0l But I like me being that way! School is going great right now! I’m having such a great year…other than the minor set backs. SGA is so busy! It’s like crazy l0l…I mean like the whole month of October is like booked completely. Oh, have I mentioned I got invited to join Phi Theta Kappa?! Well I did…and I am so excited! It’s an honors club type thing. Pretty pumped! I should have joined last time I got invited, but I didn’t for some apparent reason, but hey, I got a second chance…so I think I’m going to take it l0l! The love life on the other hand is coming along quite nicely…I got asked out on a date I’m so excited! I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes. I’ve got a good connection with this guy though, so I’m hoping things might work out. And to top it all off…HE GOES TO NACC TOO! YAY! He is such a doll! The sweetest guy I think I’ve ever met. My friends and his friends both think we’ll suite each other…and I have to agree with them! We’ll just see how things work out (cross your fingers)! Lets see…have I mentioned I’m doing the Miss Northeast Pageant?! Hey! I’m think I’m going to do the Miss Northeast Pageant. I’m pretty stoked about that too! I hear it’s a lot of fun, so I can’t wait. Plus it gives me a reason to get all fancied up! I even have family from Atlanta coming to watch…YAY! Ya know…I think this is the happiest I’ve been in a while! I mean with just life in general. I’m completely loving every aspect of my life right now!  Any who…it’s getting super late and I have to get up early. Catch me next time! xoxo

so much for my fairy tale ending…

I think this is the busiest I have been in so long! Between SGA, P-Host, classes, SKD, work, and homework…it amazes me how I find time! l0l I love it though. I am having such a blast this year, it’s unreal! I guess I just feel more at ease since it’s my second year…I went on a leadership trip at the beginning of this month. It was such a blast! All the officers from like every club went (and a few faculty members) to this NICE lake house to work on our skills as being leaders for Northeast. I made so many friends on that trip, and to be honest, if it hadn’t been for that trip I don’t know if I would have made those friendships?! But I’m so glad I did. We had 3 sessions…and then lots of fun! Except when we had to go on a 2 mile jog at 7 in the morning! Yeah I know!? It was crazy! I was like…AHH! l0l but hey, a little exercise never hurt anybody. I’m doing pretty good in my classes…they’re just a little stressful at some points, but I enjoy them. My goal for this semester is to have A’s…and maybe a couple B’s. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

On a another note…Mitchell and I broke up! Yeah, I thought it wouldn’t happen…but it did. I wish him the best in every aspect of life. It just hurts ya know?! I guess I just had my head in the clouds…or maybe it was the summer atmosphere…I don’t know! School keeps my mind of him, but only for a while. I know there are other people out there, but sometimes I only him back. Ugh! This is so depressing! It’ll get better though…it’s just going to take me some time. Needless to say, the “L” word will not be coming out of my mouth any time soon to any one. I feel heartless when I say that, but it’s true. I can’t just get over him…when I care about him so much!

!WhOo WeE wHaT a WeEk!

oh my goodness…what a busy (and when i say busy i mean BUSY) week this has been! I’m talking about 3 classes a day…meetings to go to…a part time job…and homework l0l! i love my life! idk what i would do if i didn’t have so many things…probably sleep l0l! i LOVE to sleep! any who…SGA has been on the ball since school started, with the Maui Mixer. it was this cool beach theme dance and we actually did it outdoors! how creative was that?! yeah i know…it was pretty awesome, and a great way to start off the school year. And then the presidential hosts are not wasting any time either. i am already signed up for 2 events l0l! WHOO! now classes…i am actually enjoying my classes. my teachers are all great… and some are just hilarious! l0l Oh…have a mentioned all the students we have!? yeah, we have broken the record yet again. you see…we broke the record for the largest enrollment at the college last year, but now we have broken it again. we’re moving on up! l0l i think i am going to enjoy this year a lot more compared to last year. i think it’s because i have a better feel for the campus..i’m more involved..and i know a lot of the freshman. yeah, i’m pretty pumped! oh yeah, i have a retreat coming up this next weekend…i’m really excited about that! it’s the officers from like every club getting together and all that good stuff. you know it’s gonna rock! i’ll be sure to let y’all know how it goes…if i remember l0l!

on a more serious notel… i’m sure you have all heard about this hurricane that’s on the move. well, the college just happens to be an eacuation site and we have 300 evacuees at the college now. my heart goes out for these people!  it’s just awful all this is happening and they had to leave their homes. some students are up there volunteering tonight. i wish  could have been there, but a couple clubs from the college are going up there in the morning to help some more and serve some breakfast. i just hope we can help! i know we’ll do the best we can! please keep these people in your prayers!
