so here lately…

so how was everyon’s Christmas?  great i hope…mine on the other hand was just ok. don’t get me wrong, i love Christmas, but this one was a little sad for me. it was the first Christmas me, Shanna, and RJ have not been together. i was a little bummed…opening presents just wasn’t the same. the whole atmosphere at my house just wasn’t the same without them two here with me. but on the plus side, i got a lot of good stuff this year lol! like money! sleep is my first love, but i really like me some money too lol! and i got some new pj’s too…so i was stoked! and my boyfriend had to have given me the best present (not to mention the most expensive probably) a Columbia jacket! yeah i know…wow! you know he spent some money…a whole lot of money. But he also have me this picture of me and him. he is too sweet! i love this picture of me and him. it was darling for him to have even thought of the idea to do that, and i’m so happy that he did because now it sits in a frame right next to my bed. so he is the first thing i see in the morning, and the last thing i see before i fall asleep. if i haven’t told you already, him and i are doing great! i have been an emotional rollercoaster though because he is leaving soon. yeah, he is transferring to UaH. i’m beyond happy for him don’t get me wrong, but just the thought of not getting to see him roamming around Northeast next semester makes me sad. i know he isn’t going too far but still…

oh! i’m taking a little road trip this weekend. yep, i’m going to see my family in atlanta. i’m pretty pumped! i didn’t get to go down there this summer, so i just had to ask off some time during this break to make sure i seen their beautiful faces lol! i talked to them and they are just as excited as i am about me coming lol! it’s going to be such fun. i’ll be sure to let you know how everything goes.

me and one of my best friends casey went shopping too by the way! man i love the after Christmas sales lol! they are SO great! her and i got lots of good stuff. a woman can never have too many clothes. plus my Christmas money was burning a whole in my pocket lol.

ahh…the holidays! don’t we just love the holidays?! ev eryone is just in the spirit…happy-go-lucky, what could possibly go wrong during this time of year? SIKE! people get vicious is what they get, especially in a grocery store. they wanna complain about us being out of that certain item they just can’t do christmas dinner without, or they want to argue with the cashier that something rang up wrong. i’m telling you…some people there is just not pleasing. and to top off my holiday spirit…i’m forced to work! AHHH! it’s times like this that make me dread the holiday season. yes i know i shouldn’t be so negative, but you try working in a grocery store the week of christmas. i don’t understand why people don’t plan ahead?! see, if they did, then they wouldn’t be so stressed having to go to the store the day before their precious dinner. that’s just my opinion though….take it how you please.

other than that…i’m trying to find the time to finish up my shopping. i know i know! how dare i wait til the last minute?! well, that’s just me if you haven’t already noticed. i always tend to put things off as long as i can (or at least until i have no other option but to do whatever it is lol). and i am loving this whole “sleep thing”! you just have no idea how much i love to sleep. plus, being stress-free from school has really brightened my days too!

How can one word make me cringe?!

FINALS! That one word knows how to literally mess someone up without laying a hand on them! I hate finals…I swear it should be declared a curse word or something lol. People start freaking out and all that jazz when the word “final” comes around….craziness! I so can’t wait to get this semester over with.

Besides finals coming up…like tomorrow, we just had 2 p host events back-to-back. Talk about adding some more stress on me, not to mention some pain on my feet lol! I’m glad we got them out of the way though; I’m telling you I had been dreading them for a while now. AHHHH! the Snow Ball was the day after our lovely p host events. It was tons of fun and I had the hottest date lol (my boyfriend)! Everyone who went seemed like they were enjoying themselves.

Any who…I have a killer final tomorrow in economics , then 2 finals on tuesday in political science and sociology, and my lit final on wednesday…then I’M DONE!!!!!  But you know what comes after this next week…I have to finish up on my Christmas shopping. It’s one of those bitter sweet things, because it’s so much fun to shop, but it stinks when you have to calculate your money to make sure you have enough for everyone’s present. I can’t wait though! I love to shop…regardless lol!

only 2 weeks left…can you say EXCITED?! :)

how was everyone’s turkey day? i hope great! mine could have been better considering the fact that i had to work, but hey…someone has to do it. and would you believe people actually shopped!? yeah, i was like “who shops on thanksgiving?” lol and these people are like, “i’m so sorry you have to work!” i bet they are real sorry…if they were so sorry they would have just stayed at home lol, but no, they just had to come in!

now that i got that out of my system, lets talk about school…i only have like 2 weeks left! i’m so pumped! it’s not that i haven’t enjoyed this semester or my instructors, it’s just i’m that type of girl who loves sleep…and this whole getting up early thing is getting old lol! jk morning classes are more my scene versus afternoon or evening. finals are coming up yeah…what a bummer lol but after that i’m home free. (wish me luck by the way lol) oh, we have 2 big p. host events coming up too! blah! lol i like being a p. host and all, but these events coming up are a no joke scene! how do i know this?! because i remember them from last year. it’s all good though…but i can just feel my feet hurting already from those heels of mine lol! at least this will give me a chance to get to know some of the other hosts (considering the fact i haven’t worked much this semester since i had all my hours , but hey…i’m not complaining lol). cross your fingers we do as good a job as we did last year so they will ask next year’s p.hosts to come back and serve them again!

oh…did you watch the alabama vs. florida game?! ugh…i’m beyond upset about that! talk about ruining a weekend lol! but i’m proud of my boys anyways…they played a heck of a game! i just wish they would have won but we at least have the sugarbowl…maybe we can pull that one off. hopefully anyways. (maybe you should cross your fingers on that one too lol ).

back to school for a second…have i mentioned sga’s christmas charity? hey! sga is doing a christmas charity lol! we are sponsoring a family…i’m pretty excited! you know i’m a sucker for helping people! p. hosts are doing one too, but i think i am just going to focus on sga’s. plus sga is doing its annual canned food drive! we’re such a great college! man i love this place! i mean i honestly do…i love everything about northeast, and i am so happy i decided to come here first instead of going straight into a 4 year. 

speaking of 4 years…my boyfriend is transferring in january    don’t get me wrong…i’m super proud of him, but boy will i miss his face around campus lol! but hey, it’ll all be ok! on that note…him and i are great! it will be one month OFFICIALLY today! i know…i’m such a girl lol! but like i can help it! ill keep you posted though…
