I know you have all heard the saying, “there’s a first time for everything,” and if you like it, try it again lol. Well guess what I did for the first time this weekend?! You’re going to laugh I just know you are….are you ready?! I WENT HUNTING! Yeah that’s right…little ole me, out there, wading in some water and everything lol. And y’all wouldn’t believe how proud Zack was of me. Yes, my boyfriend took me duck hunting. He had me all dressed up in some camo lol it was the cutest thing. Then I had to put these wader things on so we could get in the water. Talk about some funny stuff. I didn’t know hunters went through so much preparation. lol How was I supposed to know it was that serious of a sport.
So here we go after we got ready….riding to the spot to where we were going. Then we get out like way away from the water. I was like we have to walk forever and a day too. Zack’s just a smiling at me and was like we can’t park right next to where they will “light in.” Yeah, I so didn’t know hunters had their own lingo too lol, but I’m learning. So…we’re walking. I’m just a humming along lol trying to fit my foot in those waders that so weren’t my size, but who am I to complain, I wanted to go just as much as he wanted me too. Here we go. Zack didn’t even want to take me out in the water, because he figured I would fall, but I got my way so we went wading. On the way out he was like, “Now Jackie,” and I knew what was coming, “you’re going to have to be careful. You can’t walk like you normally do…” Yeah yeah yeah was all I thought. I got this! So we’re taking out unto the water. COLD! lol AHH! but I manned up and took it like a man, so I wouldn’t sound like such a girl. We walk like no joke, across that water to go stand next to a tree. A tree?! lol When we got to where we were going to stand, I look around, is this it?! If any of you know me, I’m the most impatient person you’ll ever meet. So naturally, I find something to play with, a stick lol. Yes….well when you are up to your waist in water (him only being up to like his thigh) without a clue on what to do besides be quiet, you have to find some sort of entertainment, so I did. There I am, spinning the stick in some water, being quiet before I get yelled at while Zack makes those funny sounds trying to call some ducks our way, I’m just chilling lol literally, and playing. Time goes by and I start wondering around that tree we’re standing next to. Zack’s just looking at me, smiling lol . I knew he wanted me to stay put, but I couldn’t help it. I was getting restless, but having fun. How many girlfriends would ever go hunting with their boyfriends? Not many that I know of, so I get to be one of those lucky few. He told me I did excellent! He just didn’t think I could be quiet for a long amount of time, and not want to go back 15 mintues after we get out there. lol I did good! I told him I had it from the get go though! It definitely was something new…..he wants to take me deer hunting now lol. Well just see what happens. Maybe he’ll kill something next time because we didn’t get anything this last time. They we’re flying though. They just wouldn’t “light” (land) where we were exactly.
I can’t wait to tell all my friends at school my new adventure.
For me to be so young, I have never had so much responsibility. Sometimes I ever wonder how I get through the day. I know everyone is busy, but still, no one has my schedule. I mean…my day starts at 5:45. I get up (usually unwilling lol) and get ready for school. I have to leave my house at 7:15 ish to make it to my 8 o’clock class on time (which I’m usually late for anyways). Then I have class after class after class. Then usually I have a meeting. Whether it’s for p-host or sga; I always manage to have a meeting every week at 12 if not 2 or 3. Then right after the meetings I have about 15 to 20 mintues of prime socializing time lol, and then it’s off back to the house. From that I have about 30 minutes to get ready for work. Off to work. 3-9:30. I get home at about a quarter til, and that’s when I have my study time like about 12 or 1 ish. Then I have to get up and do it all over again. Now granted I only have to work 4 days a week, but if I’m not working at my job, I’m working on homework or something for the next meeting I have. Don’t get me wrong, I make time to have fun and relax! It just amazes me at how many of us students are so busy. Talk about a fast-paced world?!
School is going great by-the-way. I’m totally loving this semester. Besides being bus and all…it’s great. Sadly to say, I graduate in May. It’s a good and bad thing. I’m happy I have made it this far and I have enjoyed everyone moment at Northeast, it’s just sad this is my last semester. So you know I have to make it could!
It’s happened…I’ve fallen in love with Zack! I’m telling you I have never felt this way. It’s one of those crazy, good feelings. I can just look at him…and can’t help but smile! He makes me the happiest girl in the world with just the little things he does, and some of the things he says just melts my heart. He means the world to me y’all…it’s like I can’t explain to y’all just how much he means to me and how much I love him! It’s the funniest story on how it happened though…you see I’m not the one to EVER say “I love you” first regardless, but I don’t know, it was different this time. Zack and I had been argueing one day about something (not even important now) but any who, we were fighting. Well I had the bright idea to tell him because life is too short to not tell someone how you feel, so I was like today’s the day. So I text him and was like “I need to talk to you…in person.” Well of course you know that threw him for a loop and he was freaking out on me! He called and he was like what’s up babe? What’s wrong?! I was like nothing…I just need to talk to you. Well he gets up here, nervous as ever lol and I start to get a little nervous too. I almost chickened out, but he needed to know howw I felt and I just couldn’t keep it to myself any longer. We get face-to-face…and I can feel my heart racing. Then, I just said, it doesn’t matter to me whether you say it back or not, but I need you to know that I love you! I sighed….he just smiled. He was like I drove all the way up here thinking you was about to break up with me then later that night, me and a friend had went to his house to hang with him and his friend. Well as soon as we get there Zack was like I need to talk to you, lets take a walk. So I was like out, yet a little confused. Well we start walking and then he looked at me, and was like you know I love you too right?! And I was just in shock. Tickled pink! I’m crazy about him…oh and guess what?! He also told me that night that he wass going to stay at Northeast another semester! Y’all just don’t know how excited I was to hear that. So now him and I are at school together once again this semester. We even have a class together! This is going to be a great semester already…I just know it!
