so i’m just flying on an airplane…looking out the window….watching the clouds go by…

yes i know…i brought the barney song into im blog, but i thought it fit lol. we’ve, the skd crew, have been traveling all day to our national convention…in minnesota! we had to drive to huntsville, then fly to memphis, then finally, the VERY cold minnesota! ugh! i hate cold weather. maybe next year they will do the convention in like florida or something lol. (not like i’m going to be there even if they do, but it’s worth a shot) on the way to the airport (zack took me by the way) i started crying i was so upset because i was going to be gone from him for like 5 days! i mean i know it sounds silly, but i hated it. it’s the longest we have ever been apart. now let me just tell you…the first plane we took was SO small! i thought i was going to flip! i mean it olny seated like 50 people. and to top it all off it was raining, so you know that made a plane that small hit even more bumps than usual. i got so scared on the plane i startes scaring the man sitting next to me lol. it’s not like i meant to, but i have never felt so scared on a plane. (and you’re talking about a girl who used to fly quite a bit) the next plane we got on wasn’t too bad. it was bigger and you know what they say in texas “the bigger the better!” i got to sit next to our sponsor (also my teacher) mrs. reeves. we chatted the whole way like it was nothing lol. i loved it. plus she taught me how to play hearts the right way on the plane lol. when we got to our destination, i was so relieved. cold, but still happy to be on land lol. our hotel is so nice! and we got great rooms. mrs. reeves’s is even better though. i’m talking this place it fancy! i can’t wait to explore the city in between sessions . well….you do know the mall of america is up here lol! a girl just can’t resist her shopping. but right now though, i just want to relax…it’s been a long day. i’ll be keeping you updated while i’m here though.

oh, before i go. i have a memoir that i have to give saturday. it’s on the hurricane evacuees. i’m pretty excited, a little nervous, but i’m hoping i’ll do fine. i got volunteered into doing this by the way, but i don’t mind i just have to read over it a few times before i read it in front of people i don’t know! ahh! jk you know i like to be the center of attention!
