i said burr…it’s cold up here!

so let me just tell you, some of these speakers up here are some of the funniest people i think i have ever heard! one even talked about the unclaimed baggage in scottsboro! all the northeast kids were screaming and yelling like “oh yeah! ” lol and some of these northern people just aren’t the nicest people i’ve ever met…to say the least. i think they are just jealous because we talk cuter than they do lol! oh well…and did you know they didn’t charge tax up here! i know right. there is a target like a few blocks away, and they so didn’t charge tax on the stuff i forgot to pack lol. the only places that do charge though are the places to eat. but i mean, if that’s the only places, by all means lol. and there are a TON of starbucks up here. it’s like every where you look you see one. as much fun as i’m having though, i miss zack . and bless his heart, he misses me too! lol some of the people from our group went and saw the play “rents.” i wasn’t too keen in going, but they seemed to have enjoyed themselves. one guy that’s with us, Devin, is like a theater guru lol. so you know he had a ball there! oh and 3 of us mustanges won the scholarship skd gives away. i was so proud of them! they got it presented to them at our luncheon. oh, and i over heard some like people who actually live here, and one was saying how it was supposed to be warm. it’s only 40 degrees up here if that and this man is talking about getting out his shorts! i was like wow….i mean when we say it’s going to be warm that’s one thing because we’re running around in sun dresses not thinking anything about it being in the 70s, but when snow flurries are in the atmosphere and you say that’s warm, that’s another thing lol. oh well….you know i’m bundled up! i look like an eskimo for crying out loud lol, but at least i’m warm.

well, tomorrow is the day i give my speech! i’m getting pretty excited, the only downfall is i have to give it at like 8 in the morning! oh well….it’s times like these that naps were invented. i’ll be sure to let you know how it goes!

we only have one more day….it’s one of those love/hate feelings. i’m having such a blast up here, with people i love, but then again i’m just ready to get back. i’m getting tired of these northerners looking at me like i’m stupid when i ask for sweet tea….yeah, you read right! they don’t have sweet tea up here! i know….it’s just crazy! down right ridiculous! lol blah! blah! blah! it all i hear when they tell me that lol! the banquet is tomorrow too! i’m just excited we get to dress up. you know we’re going to look FABULOUS! any who…i must go! i’ll blog ya later!
