sweet home alabama!

oh i can’t even begin to tell you how excited i am to be home! i didn’t think i would miss it as much as i did….have you ever thought your life should be a movie? well let me just tell you, when we got off our last plane, i knew Zack was there and i took off at a dead sprint through the airport! all i could think about was i had to get to him. i mean we’re talking i had my purse in one hand and my backpack on and everything. it should have been a scene in a movie i’m telling you! it was the sweetest moment. as i was trying my hardest to get to the baggage claim, all i could think about was i hope he’s some where where i can see him. i’m riding down the escalters, looking from left to right trying to find him, and there he stands! it was one of the happiest moments i’ve ever had! i dropped my bags and just jumped into his arms! i didn’t want to let go, and we’re in the middle of the baggage claim. lets just say my trip had a happy ending the mintue i saw him!

oh, my speech went great by the way! i had so many compliments from students from like texas (and you know my own peeps) and some other sponsors too. that made me feel great! i’m just glad i could represent nacc in such a good way, even if it was just reading a memoir. mrs. reeves was telling some of her sponsor friends too and that made me feel good! we got to go to the mall of america while we were up there. i had to take a bus and a train, but by george we made it lol! it was an experience let me just tell you…and an unforgetable one at that. the mall was crazy big too! i’m talking 4 stories, rolller coasters, aquarium, the works! i wasn’t all impressed as i thought i would be though. i mean it was great and everythin, but it had all the same stores as the ones back home do. still enjoyed it though…

well, i have some more unpacking to do, a TON of homework to catch up on, and plenty of sleep that needs to be slept…yeah, reality hit us when we were on the planes home lol. catch me next time!
