spring fling was a ball! we had some new events that i think we rather well. monday was “sundaes on monday,” all the different clubs created their own dessert and the students got to vote on which one that thought was the greatest. people also donated money towards that and all the proceeds went to cancer research. a great organization i know. then tuesday was my favorite “Kickball!” even though i didn’t get to play because i had to work, just the thought that elementary memories could be brought back from a game made me happy. wednesday was the “Amazing Race.” Zack actually done that one with some of our friends and WON! yeah i know…i’m so proud of him. he was pretty pumped too. thursday was the all-time favorite “Flag Football.” you know everyone goes crazy over some football. I was just happy watching in the sun lol. (i am so loving this weather by the way). friday was the “NACC has Talent.” we didn’t have many enter as i thought, but the audience loved all the acts. plus the free pizza for lunch. it was a great ending to the week. we had the dance that night all well. the theme was “PJ with the DJ.” cute title ain’t it lol?! you can thank me for that one. lol jk ok ok…it was me and maybe jordan…just maybe lol. it was a blast!
as much as i hate to see spring fling end, the end of school is yet coming to an end too. and here i was thinking classes might be at a downfall since finals are coming up, but no. i am sadly mistaken yet again. i have got so much work to do and now only a short time to do it in! can you say STRESSED!? it’s times like this that make me want to be little again, where the hardest decision i had to make was debating on which crayon to use lol. oh well….those days are just memories now…

SO…I GOT HIM! MY LITTLE PUPPY….HIS NAME IS MUSHU! (YES, JUST LIKE THE LITTLE DRAGON OFF MULAN) HE IS SO ADORABLE! WEIGHS ALL OF 2 POUNDS. 1 POUND FLUFF AND THE OTHER POUND BODY! LOL HE’S AS TALL AS HE IS WIDE. I’M SO HAPPY! YOU KNOW, FOR ME TO BE A SOPHOMORE IN COLLEGE, MUSHU IS MY VERY FIRST PET. I MEAN NOW I HAVE HAD ANIMALS. MY PARENTS HAVE PETS, BUT TO HAVE ONE TO CALL “MY OWN,” THIS ONES IT!
oh and guess what!? Calhoun had their speaker’s forum just like we did when we had Pamela Duncan here, but they had Michael Knight. Well guess what?! Mrs. Reeves, our SKD sponsor, and I went. So much fun! We tried to invite more people, but no one seemed interested, so her and I was like ok….we’ll just go ourselves. But that’s not the best part…my old advisor and really close friend, Carolyn Jones, lives right up Calhoun’s alley, so we met up with her! Oh it was so great! I have missed her like crazy! She made Mrs. Reeves and I dinner and even went to the forum with us. It was so so good to see her. We got a tour of the house and everything. Mrs. Reeves and I even played the wii with Carolyn and her kids, and let me just tell you I bowl a lot better on that thing then I do in real life lol. If those things weren’t so bloody expensive, I would invest in one lol. But I’m just a poor old college student lol. jk I’m so going back to visit her more. I actually can’t believe I have went this long without seeing her. Y’all just don’t know….she was my best friend at Northeast and probably knew me better than almost anyone there. She’s still a woman I look up to. She’s practically another mom to me. I am beyond blessed to have her in my life.

this semester has been so difficult for me. idk what the problem is….oh wait, it’s laziness. they say the spring semester is always the hardest and by george they aren’t kidding. i mean don’t get me wrong, i’m not failing or anything, but…. i’m just not up to my standards as a student. maybe it’s just all in my head…ugh! i just want a break. it’s like everything wanted to happen this week. projects due, a sga meeting coming up, and then there is spring fling rigth around the corner! wow! yeah, i know….it has just totally crept up on us. i’m pretty excited about it, but this week seems to be dragging. hopefully spring fling will go according to plan. (cross your fingers)
on another note…work has just been awful! idk what has gotten into people, but why do they have to choose 10 minutes before we close to decide to shop?! i mean honestly, couldn’t they find time within the 15 hours that we are open to shop. nope! that’s why they choose otherwise. sometimes i feel like they just don’t have any respect….oh well, you would think that since i have been there for over 4 years i would be used to this now, but i’m not. i still get upset about it…it’s just life though i suppose.
oh, Zack and i went and looked at a puppy today! super excited! we saw an ad in the paper and we called the guy a little while back and the puppies are almost ready! i can’t wait. (that’s why we went and saw them) they are pomeranians….the cutest little things ever! i’m supposed to be getting one by the end of the week! (i’ll be sure to let you know how it goes)
so i’ve been thinking….you know all the clubs i’m in: presidential host, sga, skd….ok, well i know it doesn’t sound like too much, but it is really starting to take it’s toll on me. plus having a job…ugh! i need a vacation lol. you know sometimes i feel like no one understands me. i don’t know why and i know that there are a ton of people that do what i do, but i guess they just don’t stress or worry like i do. or maybe they just handle it better than i do…you know, the whole juggling thing?! it amazes me how time flies too! i mean i feel like i just started northeast and here i am a month and a half away from graduation! oh i don’t even want to think about finals right now! too late….here i go lol. just another day in my shoes i guess….
speaking of shoes, this weather is retarded! it’s april and i’m running around in snow boots and my winter coat. i don’t get this at all….it was only last week i was prancing around in my sun dress and now i’m freezing the moment i step outside! yuck! i so hate cold weather lol.***zack and i are doing great (yeah, i know i so just jumped subjects lol)! it will be 5 months wednesday! yeah, i know! it’s crazy….sometimes i feel like him and i are this old married couple, and then there are days i feel like we just met. i guess that’s what you get when you fall in love fancy how my little neice’s birthday is the same day as our anniversary. she’s going to be 4. grown ups don’t kid when they say “they grow up fast.” it still amazes me. she shouldn’t be this old already. i wish she was still little, but it’s going to have to be ok (since i can’t really change it). we’re going to have a new addition to the family in december :) yep, my little sis shanna is prego! i’m pretty pumped! ok…there is no pretty to it, i am pumped. COMPLETELY STOKED!
